Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory disorder of unknown cause which primarily affects the axial skeleton. IgA nephropathy was first described by Berger and Hinglais in 1968 and is characterized by recurrent gross of ankylosing spondylitis
associated with IgA nephropathy by Sisson et al, several cases have been reported including 3 cases in Korea. Ankylosing spondylitis and lgA nephropathy can be associated by chance alone, but there are some evidences sug-gesting common
pathogeneses

report a case of ankylosing spondylitis associated with lgA nephropa-thy in a 43-year old male patient with a review of the literature.
